Here at IHP you can train like an UFC fighter or Professional Boxer  without taking punishment like one. Our highly-trained Performance Coaches are very experienced and have the knowledge and skills to provide you with an excellent outcome. IHP CEO, JC Santana, was brought up on combat sports, from the grappling to the striking arts.  Naturally, he brought up his son, Rio, within the combat arts. Thus, IHP has been the training ground for some of the world’s top combat athletes.  Due to JC’s and Rio’s combat backgrounds, IHP has always had an “edge’ to it; safe, yet aggressive training.

 

Part of our programs has always included some form of martial arts, from exercises to modes of training.  One of the modes of training that has always been at the heart of the IHP training methodology has been “hitting the mitts” (i.e. punching and kicking). The development of footwork, cardio, movement skill, and self confidence that comes from learning to hit the mitts is unparalleled.  This is why it’s such a hit at IHP and nationwide. All you have to do is just look the growth of boxing classes, kickboxing classes, MMA gyms, boxing gyms, and all other forms of martial arts to see how popular it’s become.
